Man should be always motivated. Self-motivation is the best motivation techniques. The starting point of all motivation is oneself. I like this message by Nelson Mandela in certain aspects. Traditionally man's actions are only limited only up to where he thinks.
In Ramayana Lord Ram sends Hanuman to find Sita who was abducted by Ravana.
While the troop accompanied by Hanuman encounters the ocean. All including Hanuman were dejected by their inability to move from there. Jambavan, one of the elders in the troop reminds Hanuman of his powers and only after this Hanuman dares to jump across the ocean to reach what is known as Sri Lanka today.
This incident reminds one of their own powers, which are deeply hidden. Every human is either capable of achieving greater good only if they start thinking that they can achieve the goal. Without a goal even games like Football is useless.
